INSTRUCTION & CURRICULUM ENGAGEMENT COORDINATOR

The J. Murrey Atkins Library at UNC Charlotte is seeking an Instruction & Curriculum Engagement Coordinator to lead in planning, providing, and assessing curriculum-integrated library instruction across all disciplines. As a member of Research & Instructional Services, the Coordinator supports Atkins Library’s teaching librarians in designing online and face-to-face instruction that helps ​students learn to search, read, think, and contribute in an engaged and iterative research process. The Coordinator also engages with academic programs and curricular initiatives on campus to advocate for high-quality research instruction.

HEAD OF ASSESSMENT

The J. Murrey Atkins Library at UNC Charlotte is seeking a Head of Assessment to oversee and participate in assessment opportunities throughout the university and promote a data-informed approach to achieving strategic goals. The Head of Assessment promotes a culture of assessment across the J. Murrey Atkins Library by coordinating a comprehensive assessment program that includes quantitative, qualitative, and usability practices. This position ensures the collection, analysis, and reporting of both qualitative and quantitative data; consults on assessment methods; and provides training on various assessment tools and techniques. The work of the Assessment Team enables the J. Murrey Atkins Library to document impact on our patrons, as well as make evidence-based decisions to continuously improve programs, services, and spaces.

HEALTH & HUMAN SERVICES LIBRARIAN

The J. Murrey Atkins Library at UNC Charlotte invites applications for a Health & Human Services Librarian to provide research support for students and faculty in the academic programs of the College of Health & Human Services. As an engaged faculty librarian in Research & Instructional Services, the person in this position will design and teach instructional sessions, provide in-depth, specialized research consultation and reference services, and assist with collection development for assigned academic programs.
